All their students have countless opportunities to perform at different venues. These performances include their annual holiday show held at Curtis Theater, local dance competitions, Disneyland Park Magic Days, and their annual summer show held at Servite High School in Anaheim. These showcases are a fun way for dancers to show off what they learned as well as dress up for their performance. This dance studio is also available for rehearsal space as well. Lucky for you, Imperial Dance Studio allows every new student a free trial class. This gives the student the opportunity to decide on if dance is something they enjoy doing.

Imperial Dance Studio has an incredible owner, Todd Van Dorn. Todd Van Dorn is also a dancer himself since he was 12 years old. He began his career through jazz and ballet. Through learning the art of dance, he fell in love with it and pursued it as an adult. He went on to become a performer. Todd Van Dorn started off performing at Disneyland in the parades, then in Broadway as well as television. He then went on to becoming an instructor and chorographer, shortly after in 1993, he owned his first studio, Imperial Dance Studio. He also owns a second studio, which he started in 2005. From then on, the studio has obtained multiple awards from various dance competitions. They’ve reached national level in competitions such as K.A.R., Starpower, Spotlight, Thunderstruck, Showstopper, That’s Dancin’, Exchange Club of California and Exchange Club of Arizona.

Now you may be wondering, how much does it cost? This dance studio runs by monthly tuition. This monthly tuition is based off 4 class sessions per month, unless you choose to pay by the class. There is a one-time registration fee of $25 when joining. A one-hour class is $15 and a one-and-a-half-hour class is $20. For example, if a student is doing 45 minutes of dance a week, it would be $53 a month. The rest of monthly rates can all be viewed on their website. Don’t forget, the first trial class is free!
